Former Phillies, Blue Jays Pitcher Roy Halladay Dies in Plane Crash

Reports: Kapler set to be Phillies' New Manager

The Philadelphia Phillies are expected to hire Gabe Kapler as their next manager, multiple outlets reported on Sunday. Kapler serves as the Los Angeles Dodgers' director of player development. He reportedly is one of the three finalists for the position, along with former Boston Red Sox manager John Farrell and Dusty Wathan, the manager of the Phillies' Triple-A Lehigh Valley affiliate.
