NEW ORLEANS | For all that barking that went on by those that thought Georgia deserved to be in the College Football Playoff, the Sugar Bowl did nothing to bolster the argument.
No. 15 Texas zoomed out ahead from the get-go and stunned the No. 5 Bulldogs 28-21 before 71,449 in the Superdome Tuesday night to send the SEC East champions into the offseason with a second straight defeat.
