The New York Giants are signing Arizona Cardinals fullback Elijhaa Penny off of the team’s practice squad, ESPN’s Jordan Raanan reports.

The New York Giants are signing FB Elijhaa Penny off the Arizona Cardinals practice squad, per source. This after FB Shane Smith struggled badly on Sunday night. Penny is 234 pounds and played in 16 games last season.

Although he hasn’t played a down with the team in 2018, the second-year back out of Idaho made the most of his opportunities last season.
