LeBron James reportedly may be already considering a future jump to the Los Angeles Lakers or Los Angeles Clippers after the Cleveland Cavaliers dropped Game 3 of the 2017 NBA Finals Wednesday night to the Golden State Warriors, 118-113.

Kevin O’Connor of the Ringer reported on Thursday that James may consider the jump when he hits free agency in 2018.

This comes after Adrian Wojnarowski of The Vertical revealed last year that the expectation is James won’t play the rest of his career in Cleveland, and Jalen Rose noted on ESPN that James could eventually play in Los Angeles.

James, a 32-year-old four-time MVP, has a player option in 2018-19 to remain in Cleveland. He left the Cavaliers after the 2009-10 season to chase rings in Miami. He won two NBA titles in Miami, alongside Dwyane Wade and Chris Bosh, before bringing Cleveland back from a 3-1 deficit last year against the Warriors.

James is a former Rookie of the Year and a three-time NBA Finals MVP.
