Govan Dominates Georgetown's Win Over Coppin State
Georgetown's Jessie Govan scored 26 points and grabbed 16 rebounds, and the Hoyas defeated Coppin State 76-60 as part of the BB&T Classic on Sunday at Capital One Arena in Washington, D.C. Govan, who came into the game averaging 18.6 points and 11.4 rebounds per game, scored 16 first-half points, including consecutive three-point plays as the Hoyas went on a 9-2 run to take a 37-27 halftime lead.
