When the New York Yankees landed Giancarlo Stanton from the Miami Marlins last winter, many baseball historians suggested their lineup might be the most powerful in baseball history.

On September 29, the day before the season ended, the team proved them right.

The Yankees powered a pair of home runs at Fenway Park in the middle game of a season-ending weekend series with the Red Sox, thus becoming the top home run hitting team of all time.
